Q1 — Who owns MetroDhun?
Answer: MetroDhun is owned and operated byVergeLyrics. VergeLyrics is the parent company and is based in India. MetroDhun is an Indian site focused on making music widely accessible to listeners across India and beyond.
Q2 — Do I need an account to use MetroDhun?
Answer: No. MetroDhun does not require user registration. You can browse and stream music without creating an account.
Q3 — Where is the music sourced from?
Answer: MetroDhun provides access to music streams from publicly available third-party sources and partners. Certain tracks may be streamed from platforms such as YouTube; copyright and ownership of those tracks remain with the original rights holders and the platforms that host them.
Q4 — Do you store my personal data on your servers?
Answer: No. MetroDhun does not store user preferences or personal data on our servers. Playlists, preferences, and other local settings are stored only on your device usinglocalStorage. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, local data may be lost.
Q5 — What information does MetroDhun collect?
Answer: We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us (for support or business inquiries). The site may use cookies or localStorage to remember UI preferences and recently played items on your device. Third-party analytics or ad partners may collect anonymous, non-identifiable data under their own policies.
Q6 — How do I delete my saved playlists or settings?
Answer: Because saved data is stored locally on your device, you can delete your playlists and settings by clearing your browser’s local storage/cache or using any “clear data” option in your browser or app. We do not retain backups of your local data.
Q7 — Is MetroDhun free? Are there subscriptions?
Answer: MetroDhun is provided as a free streaming service. We may show ads to support the platform. Currently, there are no mandatory subscription fees for standard streaming features.
Q8 — Does MetroDhun offer offline downloads?
Answer: MetroDhun does not support permanent offline downloads. Some browser features (like caching) may allow temporary playback, but there is no official download feature for offline listening.
Q9 — Can I embed or share MetroDhun content?
Answer: You may share links to pages on MetroDhun. Embedding or redistributing content may be restricted by copyright or by the third-party host of that content. Always respect the rights of copyright holders when sharing.
Q10 — Who do I contact about copyright or DMCA takedown?
Answer: If you are a rights holder and believe your copyrighted material is used improperly, please send a detailed notice to metrodhun@gmail.com. Include identification of the copyrighted work, location (URL) of the content, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Q11 — Why do I sometimes see ads? Who provides them?
Answer: Ads help us keep MetroDhun free. We work with third-party advertising partners who serve ads. Those partners may collect anonymous data to serve and measure ads; their practices are governed by their own privacy policies. MetroDhun does not sell personal user data. Ads will be shown, but don't worry — they will not interrupt playback; they appear as floating ads, and there are no ads inserted between the playing song.
Q12 — How do you handle privacy rights (GDPR / CCPA)?
Answer: Because MetroDhun stores user preferences locally and does not maintain centralized personal profiles, most typical data-access or deletion requests are handled by clearing local data on your device. For concerns about third-party advertisers or analytics, please contact the relevant provider or email us for guidance at metrodhun@gmail.com.
Q13 — Is MetroDhun safe for children?
Answer: MetroDhun does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Parents and guardians should supervise minors while using the internet and streaming services. If you believe a child has provided personal information to MetroDhun, contact us so we can assist.
Q14 — I found a bug/playback problem — how do I report it?
Answer: Please email a description (device, browser, steps to reproduce, screenshots if possible) to metrodhun@gmail.com. We appreciate detailed reports — they help us fix issues faster.
Q15 — Do you have a mobile app?
Answer: MetroDhun is currently accessible via web browsers on mobile devices. We use a Progressive Web App (PWA) approach — if your browser supports it, you can install MetroDhun to your device for an app-like experience (add to home screen, offline caching where supported, and faster launches).
Q16 — Can businesses or artists partner with MetroDhun?
